In 2025, the development of Tolgee was focused on improving the platform experience, mobile SDKs, and the Figma plugin.

7.5/8 Roadmap Checkpoints Reached

Figma plugin improvements, Labels, Suggestions, Custom AI and LLMs, Glossaries, Android and iOS SDKs for Over the Air updates - were all delivered this year 🎉 So why only 7.5? Branching is coming in early 2026 as the feature is already in development.

1 600+ New GitHub Stars ⭐ Received

We are closing the year with more than 3700 GitHub Stars ⭐ on our main platform repository. We have received immense support from the open-source community, and this is reflected in the stars given, as this is a huge increase from before.

150+ Commits Made

Though most commits and pull requests came from the Tolgee core team, we also received many from the community. For example, the platform got Simplified Chinese language support for the UI thanks to Shijun Sun (AllForNothing), and Anatolii Didukh (AnatoliiD) helped to fix OSS build crashes during translation key deletion.

We Got ISO 27001 Certified!

Maybe a boring thing for some, but we managed to get ISO 27001 certification after weeks of hard work by Tolgee's founder, Jan. This means a lot to us as it helps us to work with big enterprises and signifies that your data is safe with us.

In 2025, we focused on making localization faster, safer, and easier to integrate. We made improvements across mobile app localization, design tools, and AI-assisted translation.
