In Tolgee, we aim to revolutionize how teams localize their software by providing multiple killer features, simplifying projects' development, localization and maintenance. Tolgee Platform is the source of truth for storing localization data for various platforms and different types of content. Tolgee currently focuses on localizing applications using modern frameworks like React, Next.js, Vue, Angular or Svelte, where it provides its native SDKs. It also supports many formats for technologies like iOS, Android, Flutter, C++, PHP and more.


We believe in the open-source / open-core business model. It enables us to organically spread the tool without paying huge PPC bills while allowing individuals and open-source communities to use our tool for free. Business-wise, we follow a product-led, sustainable growth strategy.

Who we are looking for

You are a Senior Full-Stack Developer with deep back-end experience, solid front-end experience, and a strong focus on security and clean code. You’ve built REST APIs, worked with ORMs, and know how to write and maintain code that is both efficient and maintainable.

What you'll be doing​

  • Designing, implementing, and delivering roadmap features for the Tolgee Platform.

  • Developing or improving and managing various Tolgee SDKs and integrations across frameworks.

  • Working on modern AI/ML features: e.g. MCP servers, LLM-based localization, etc.

  • Ensuring high standards of secure development, clean code, and good documentation.

  • Collaborating with product, design, and other engineering teams to plan, iterate, and deliver significant features.

  • Designing, implementing, and delivering roadmap features for the Tolgee Platform.

  • Developing or improving and managing various Tolgee SDKs and integrations across frameworks.

  • Working on modern AI/ML features: e.g. MCP servers, LLM-based localization, etc.

  • Ensuring high standards of secure development, clean code, and good documentation.

Requirements​

  • 5+ years of professional backend development experience.

  • Proven experience designing & documenting REST APIs.

  • Experience using an ORM with relational databases.

  • Strong understanding of secure development practices (e.g., avoiding vulnerabilities, authentication/authorization, data protection).

  • Front-end experience: with React.js or another modern JS/TS framework.

  • Strong code hygiene: writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

  • 5+ years of professional backend development experience.

Salary

  • €5000 - €8000/month
